Huff confessed to the murder of his 41-year-old girlfriend, identified as R. Carter, with a disturbing level of detail and indifference.
The incident came to light on February 19, when Huff, having committed the heinous act, called 911 from a storage facility where Carter lived. He chillingly told dispatchers, “There’s been a murder… I killed her.” Carter, who managed the storage facility, was found deceased in her apartment connected to the facility’s leasing office.
