California resident claims final $3 million top prize in Texas Lottery scratch game

Austin, Texas – A California resident has claimed a multimillion-dollar prize after purchasing a winning scratch ticket in North Texas, marking the final top prize awarded in a popular lottery game.

The Texas Lottery announced that a resident of Daly City claimed a top prize worth $3 million from the 500X Loteria Spectacular scratch ticket game. The winning ticket was purchased at Lama 54, located at 1451 W. 2nd Ave. in Corsicana. The claimant chose to remain anonymous.

Final top prize claimed

Lottery officials confirmed this was the fourth and final $3 million top prize available in the game. With the last top prize now claimed, the 500X Loteria Spectacular game has been officially called to close.

The retailer that sold the winning ticket may be eligible for a $10,000 bonus through the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program, a reward given to stores that sell top-prize winning tickets.

The game offered more than $309.5 million in total prizes during its run, attracting players across the state with its high-value winnings. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game were one in 3.21, including break-even prizes.

Although the top prize has been claimed, players who still hold winning tickets from the game have time to come forward. Officials said prize claims must be submitted by September 17, 2026.

Lottery representatives encourage players to check their tickets carefully to ensure they do not miss any potential winnings. The claim marks a significant milestone for the game’s conclusion and delivers a life-changing prize to the out-of-state winner.
