Rowe, was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend and father of her children after he grew suspicious she was being unfaithful. Now, 39-year-old K. Cooper stands charged with her murder, leaving their two young daughters without either parent.
Authorities say Cooper fatally stabbed his girlfriend, Rowe, during a violent altercation in their sixth-floor apartment. The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. According to police, Rowe was stabbed in the chest and arm during what officials described as a domestic dispute fueled by suspicions of infidelity. Cooper, who shared a 9-year-old and a 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter with Rowe, believed she was cheating on him. A relative said he had grown increasingly paranoid about the relationship. Tensions reportedly escalated after a man dropped Rowe off at home one night, a break from her usual habit of taking the subway.
