Fort Worth teens encouraged to attend mental health event focused on strengthening wellness and resilience

Fort Worth, Texas – The Park & Recreation Department’s Rising Stars Youth Leadership Academy, in collaboration with the T.O.R.C.H. Teens Program, is bringing the community together for a powerful event focused on teen mental health. The “Every Mind Is Valuable Mental Health Youth Conference” will be held on Saturday, February 21, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Como Community Center, located at 4660 Horne St. in Fort Worth.
Conference Aims to Support Mental Wellness for Teens and Families
This free event is designed especially for middle and high school students aged 12 and up, along with their parents or guardians, educators, and community leaders. The goal is to offer support, education, and strategies that will help strengthen teen mental health and overall well-being.
Attendees can expect interactive workshops for both teens and adults, as well as panel discussions featuring experts and community voices. The conference will offer a safe space for open dialogue and practical tools to address the emotional challenges teens often face.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to participants. Registration and check-in will begin at 10 a.m., and those interested are encouraged to sign up early to reserve their spot.
