To support the initiative, the Texas Enterprise Fund has granted Schneider Electric USA $1.5 million.
Governor Abbott expressed enthusiasm for the company’s decision to expand in Texas, stating, “Made in Texas is a powerful global brand. This significant new investment by Schneider Electric in El Paso will create 300 new, good-paying jobs for hardworking Texans and showcases our state’s leadership in advanced manufacturing and technological innovation.”

The company is increasing its footprint in El Paso by expanding its existing campus by modernizing facilities to support next-generation manufacturing. This new investment follows a ribbon-cutting ceremony that Governor Abbott attended in September 2023 at one of the company’s El Paso manufacturing plants.
