Two Texas Lottery players become millionaires after claiming scratch ticket prizes worth a combined $3 million

San Antonio, Texas – Two Texas Lottery players are celebrating massive scratch ticket victories after claiming prizes worth a combined $3 million, with winning tickets sold in San Antonio and Denison.

Lottery officials confirmed that a San Antonio resident claimed a $1 million top prize from the scratch ticket game 200X The Cash. The winning ticket was purchased at Times Market located on South Hackberry Street in San Antonio. The winner chose to remain anonymous after claiming the prize.

The Texas Lottery said the retailer that sold the ticket could qualify for a $10,000 reward through the state’s Retailer Bonus Program, which provides incentives to stores that sell top-prize winning tickets.

The $1 million payout marked the second of four available top prizes in the 200X The Cash game to be claimed so far. According to lottery officials, the game offers more than $103 million in total prizes overall. Players participating in the game face odds of one in 3.88 of winning any prize, including break-even amounts.

Another Texas Resident Claims $2 Million Prize

In a separate announcement, lottery officials revealed that a resident from Denison claimed an even larger scratch ticket prize worth $2 million.

The winning ticket came from the Millionaire’s Club scratch game and was purchased at Joes Mini Mart located at 800 West Crawford Street in Denison. Like the San Antonio winner, the Denison resident also chose to remain anonymous.

Lottery officials said this marked the first of four available $2 million top prizes claimed in the Millionaire’s Club game. The game includes more than $175 million in total prizes and carries overall odds of one in 3.54 of winning any prize, including break-even prizes.

The retailer that sold the $2 million ticket may also receive a $10,000 bonus under the Texas Lottery Retailer Bonus Program.

The two major wins add to a growing list of high-dollar lottery prizes recently claimed across Texas as scratch ticket games continue attracting players hoping for life-changing payouts. While neither winner publicly revealed plans for the money, both prizes instantly placed the lucky ticket holders among the newest millionaires in the state.
