Two young children reported missing in Dallas found safe after urgent search effort
Dallas, Texas – Two young children who were previously reported missing in Dallas have now been found safe, bringing relief after a situation that raised serious concern for their well-being.
The Dallas Police Department had earlier asked for the public’s help in locating eight-year-old Sariah Roy-Ford and one-year-old Ky’aire Epperson. The children were last seen on March 26, 2026, at approximately 3:04 p.m. in the 6400 block of Maple Avenue in Dallas, Texas. According to authorities, they were leaving the area in a blue 2017 Honda Civic with Texas license plate WGM5826, prompting fears that they may have been in danger.
Details released during search effort
During the search, police shared descriptions of both children in hopes that members of the public could help identify them. Sariah was described as being 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 70 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She had last been seen wearing a blue shirt, pink shorts, and blue shoes, with her hair styled in braids.
Ky’aire, the younger child, was described as being 2 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 20 pounds, also with black hair and brown eyes. He had last been seen wearing a brown onesie with an animal print design, along with green shorts and white socks.
Authorities had urged anyone with information to contact the Dallas Police Department by calling 9-1-1 or 214-671-4268 and to reference case number 042739-2026.
