Dallas launches free CERT Training to strengthen community emergency preparedness
Dallas, Texas – The City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management & Crisis Response has announced its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Course, designed to give local residents essential skills for emergency and disaster preparedness. This free course, which takes place over three sessions, aims to empower participants with vital knowledge and hands-on skills to respond effectively in times of crisis, helping make Dallas a safer and more resilient community.

- Saturday, November 9, 2024: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Residents interested in enrolling should complete registration by the deadline, November 7, 2024. The City of Dallas will also offer Spanish-language CERT courses in the near future, with dates to be announced.
