Multiple drop-off locations available for Dallas winter coat drive running through December 31

Dallas, Texas – The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions (OHS) has officially launched its 2024 Winter Coat Drive, a collaborative effort to provide warmth and comfort to individuals experiencing homelessness during the colder months. This annual initiative, organized in partnership with the Dallas Public Library and supported by the OHS Friends Group, aims to collect 1,000 new or gently used adult-sized winter coats by December 31, 2024.

How to Participate

Residents are encouraged to donate clean, gently used, or new adult-sized coats at various participating Dallas branch libraries or Smoky Rose Restaurant at 8602 Garland Rd., Dallas, 75218. Donations are accepted during the designated hours of operation for each location. It is important to note that only coats will be accepted as part of this drive.
