At the same time, northbound Pearl Street lanes, which lead toward the freeway, will be completely closed at that crossing.
This change represents a clear reversal of the earlier traffic arrangement. For several weeks prior, only northbound vehicles coming from Ross Avenue were permitted to cross the intersection. Drivers who had adjusted to that setup will now face the opposite flow, which may cause confusion, delays, or sudden slowdowns as people relearn the route.
