City of Dallas invites older adults to attend free housing summit offering support and vital resources

Dallas, Texas – Older adults in Dallas will soon have the chance to access critical housing information and support at the upcoming 2025 Aging & Housing Summit, a free community event hosted by the City of Dallas Office of Housing & Community Empowerment – Age-Friendly Senior Services and Fair Housing Division. The summit, held in partnership with AARP and the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Winfrey Point, located at 950 E Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX 75218.
Connecting Seniors to Housing Support, Rights, and Opportunities
The summit aims to empower older Dallas residents by helping them understand their housing rights, access affordable housing resources, and connect with local organizations committed to serving aging and disabled populations. “This free community event is designed to help older Dallas residents access vital housing resources, learn about their rights, and connect with local organizations offering support.”
