Dallas Police Department searching for 33-year-old suspect after infant reported critically injured

Dallas, Texas – The Dallas Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating a man who is wanted in connection with a serious child injury case that left an infant in critical condition earlier this month. Investigators say the case remains active as authorities work to locate the suspect and gather additional information.
Police identified the wanted individual as Alejandro Silva Marines, a 33-year-old man who is currently being sought by investigators. According to authorities, the case began on March 3, 2026, when an infant was reported injured and in critical condition. The circumstances surrounding the incident led detectives to issue a warrant for Marines.
Suspect Wanted in Serious Child Injury Case
Police say Marines is wanted for Injury to Child—Serious Bodily Injury, a serious criminal charge. Authorities have released a description of the suspect in hopes that members of the community may recognize him or provide information that could help locate him.
Marines is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, according to police.

Authorities have also announced that a reward may be offered to those who provide information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
