A Vibrant Day of Festivities and Culture
Visitors will have the chance to participate in various craft workshops organized in partnership with Las Semillitas Book Club, fostering hands-on creativity and cultural engagement for children and adults. Performances throughout the day include Alegre Ballet Folklorico, showcasing lively Mexican folk dances, and Mitotiliztli Yaoyollohtli, a group of Aztec dancers. Adding to the ambiance, Mariachi Estampas de Mexico will play traditional tunes that bring a lively energy to the festivities.

Evening Performances and Altars of Remembrance
As the sun sets, festival-goers are invited to enjoy a free evening performance by Ballet Nepantla, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Known for its fusion of ballet and traditional Mexican dance, Ballet Nepantla brings a stunning performance blending cultural narratives with contemporary artistry.
Attendees can also view altars, or ofrendas, created by local artists and community members to honor loved ones who have passed. These altars, adorned with flowers, candles, photographs, and personal mementos, will be on display through November 19, 2024, at the LCC.
