Fort Worth, Texas – The City of Fort Worth Human Resources Department has officially opened applications for the 2025 NextGen Ambassador Program, offering an exciting opportunity for young people to get involved in local government and develop their professional skills.

The program will run for eight weeks, starting on June 2 and ending on July 25, and is designed specifically for youth between the ages of 17 and 22. Participants will receive paid employment, working up to 20 hours per week while exploring possible careers in public service.

Alongside their roles, participants will attend weekly professional development sessions that focus on career readiness, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. The NextGen Ambassador Program is an amazing way for young people to connect with their city, build professional skills, and get inspired about the future of public service.
