League City, Texas – A routine stop at a gas station turned into a life-changing moment for a Texas resident after a scratch ticket purchased in League City delivered a massive $7.5 million jackpot.
The winning ticket came from the Texas Lottery scratch game Loteria Supreme and was sold at TL Mini Express. Lottery officials confirmed that the player, who chose to stay anonymous, has officially claimed the top prize.
According to the winner, the incredible moment happened during an otherwise normal day. The claimant explained that he had been on the way to drop off his dog for grooming when he decided to stop at the convenience store for a drink. While there, he purchased several scratch-off tickets without expecting anything unusual.
“I was on my way to drop my dog off to get groomed when I stopped in a gas station to get a drink and decided to buy some scratch tickets,” said the claimant.
The winner said the excitement quickly escalated after he began winning repeatedly on several tickets. Feeling lucky, he bought a few additional tickets — one of which completely changed his life.
Shock And Excitement After Winning Millions
The moment the winning numbers appeared, the claimant said disbelief immediately took over.
“After scratching it, I realized I’d won the top prize – then my hands started shaking and I tried not to have a heart attack!”

The retailer that sold the winning ticket could also receive a major reward. Under the Texas Lottery Retailer Bonus Program, the store may qualify for a $10,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Lottery officials also noted that the overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.23, including break-even prizes.
